What do you use to draw?
Currently, I use Clip Studio Paint EX with a Surface Pro 13".
In the past, I used Procreate and Clip Studio Paint with an iPad Pro, and as a teenager, Fire Alpaca with a Wacom Intuos Draw.
Is that your real name?
Nope! “Autumn Neoma” is a pen name. I like the privacy and the creative persona it provides. “Neoma” means “new moon” in Greek. Fitting, since I was born on one in October.

☽ Production ☾
Work Sucks was born directly from working a real life tax firm job I didn’t love. Needing an outlet for it, I decided to turn my frustration into fiction, replacing demanding corporate toxicity with a literal vampire boss.At its core, Work Sucks stems from a love for complex, messy, character-driven dynamics, specifically the 'toxic yuri' and compelling female antagonists. Having been deeply influenced from a young age by the dark, high-friction relationship between GLaDOS and Chell in Portal, I knew I wanted to write stories where the tension between characters is witty and dangerous. Work Sucks takes that psychological power dynamic and drops it straight into the heart of a blood-sucking office job.

After observing the shifting landscape of the animation industry, I decided to stop waiting for an opportunity and create one. I approached a close friend and collaborator, Bridgette Bussler, with a proposal: 'Let’s make our own short animation from the ground up.' Drawing from a backlog of my original comic concepts, we combined our skill sets, mapped out a pipeline, and brought this short film to life.
This section showcases the translation from a written script into thumbnails. Working closely with artist Julia Yaniger, my focus was on pacing, composition, and emotional clarity before moving to final lines.
